Ashwin Moorthy has been promoted to Global Head of Category Direction and Innovation at Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. Previously serving as Head of Marketing for India, Moorthy will now lead category direction, Equity & CMI teams, and global innovation initiatives across GCPL’s operating countries. He will also retain oversight of marketing in India, including business delivery and P&L performance.
Before joining GCPL, Moorthy was Head of Brand Communications, Nutrition at Unilever and a Media Planner at Mindshare. He brings over a decade of experience in media, marketing, and sales within the consumer products sector.
Moorthy is an alumnus of the University of Mumbai.
