Publicis Groupe South Asia has appointed Lalatendu Das (LD) as CEO of Publicis Media South Asia, a newly created role. Previously the CEO of Performics India, LD will continue reporting to Anupriya Acharya, CEO of Publicis Groupe South Asia, and collaborate with leaders from Zenith India, Starcom India, and PMX India.
LD joined Publicis Groupe in 2022 and successfully grew Performics India by securing key accounts and innovating in digital and performance marketing. Before joining Publicis, he spent nearly a decade at McKinsey, where he co-led McKinsey Digital/Technology in Asia Pacific. He also held senior roles at Tata Consultancy Services. With 25 years of experience, LD is an engineer with an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
Anupriya Acharya praised LD’s leadership, noting his expertise in digital transformation and operations. LD expressed excitement about leading Publicis Media South Asia at a transformative time, aiming to drive growth and deliver innovative offerings to clients.
In a related move, Tanmay Mohanty, South Asia CEO of Publicis Media Services, is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities. Acharya thanked Tanmay for his contributions to scaling media services and capabilities in the region.
