Mediaocean has agreed to acquire Innovid, an independent ad tech platform, and merge it with its subsidiary Flashtalking to create a leading global ad tech platform. The acquisition values Innovid at $500 million, with the deal expected to close by early 2025.
The merger will combine Innovid and Flashtalking’s capabilities, offering solutions for creative personalization, ad delivery, and optimization across digital, social, CTV, and linear TV. This aims to address issues in the advertising ecosystem, such as limited data control and transparency, by giving advertisers more autonomy over media spend.
Post-merger, Innovid’s CEO Zvika Netter will lead the unified company, with Grant Parker, head of Flashtalking, becoming President. The merger positions the new entity as a major independent player in ad tech, providing a neutral alternative to Big Tech and enhancing creative and CTV capabilities.
