Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has appointed Dr. Vivek Mittal as Executive Director, Legal and Corporate Affairs, effective March 2025. He will succeed Dev Bajpai, who retired early in October.
Dr. Mittal, currently Global General Counsel at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, brings over 25 years of experience in legal and corporate affairs, having worked with companies like Danaher, Lupin, Reliance, and others. He holds a Ph.D., an LL.B., and an M.Com, and is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
HUL CEO Rohit Jawa praised Dr. Mittal’s expertise in handling high-stakes legal matters, ethics, and compliance, expressing confidence that he will drive the company’s legal function towards further growth and transformation.
