PUMA India has partnered with badminton star and two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu in a multi-year deal, marking its entry into badminton. This collaboration aims to boost badminton’s profile in India and inspire future athletes. The partnership will debut at the India Open 2025.

Ahead of the announcement, PUMA created buzz by temporarily changing its store signage to ‘PVMA,’ sparking speculation about a new campaign or partnership. The brand will soon launch a high-performance badminton range, including footwear, apparel, and accessories.

Sindhu, a global sports icon and the most followed badminton player on Instagram, expressed excitement about joining PUMA, emphasizing the brand’s shared values of inspiring through sport. Karthik Balagopalan of PUMA India highlighted Sindhu’s impact on Indian sports and the growing badminton landscape.

This partnership adds Sindhu to PUMA’s roster of elite athletes, including Harmanpreet Kaur, Mohammed Shami, MC Mary Kom, and international stars like Usain Bolt and Neymar Jr.
