EssenceMediacom, GroupM’s newest media agency, has appointed Vivek Das as the new Managing Partner and MFG (Google) Lead for India and Southeast Asia.
Vivek succeeds Vinish Mathews, who is now the Chief Strategy Officer at Mindshare. With over twenty-one years of experience in digital and integrated marketing, Vivek has held significant positions at WPP and Omnicom Media Group, managing high-profile clients such as Airtel, Nokia, Ford, Disney Star, PepsiCo, and Hindustan Unilever. In his most recent role at GroupM’s Mindshare, he led the consulting, data, analytics, and technology practice, earning numerous accolades.
Beyond his professional achievements, Vivek mentors early-stage founders and advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
