GroupM, WPP’s media investment group, has announced the promotion of Ashwin Padmanabhan to Chief Operating Officer for South Asia. In his new role, Ashwin will oversee a streamlined structure that unifies GroupM’s key practices, including Influencer Marketing, Content, OOH offerings, and Nexus. His portfolio will continue to include Investments, Trading, Partnerships, Motion, and Entertainment. Ashwin’s strategic vision will be crucial in integrating GroupM’s diverse services to develop and deliver top-tier solutions that unlock value for clients and GroupM.

Currently serving as the President of GroupM Investments, Trading, Partnerships, Motion, and Entertainment, Ashwin has cemented GroupM’s reputation as a leader in client-focused and technologically advanced media solutions through his commitment to innovation and process-driven excellence.
