Future Generali India Insurance (FGII) celebrated PRIDE 2024 with the heartwarming #WelcomeHome campaign, reaffirming its support for the LGBTQIA+ community’s fight for equality and well-being. The campaign emphasizes the need for inclusive environments where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, feels valued and accepted. FGII highlights that ‘home’ is a place where individuals can be their true selves without fear of judgment.

Ruchika Varma, Chief Marketing, Customer, and Impact Officer at FGII, stated that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are core to FGII’s ethos. The #WelcomeHome campaign, featuring real LGBTQIA+ individuals, aims to promote broader societal acceptance and create a more inclusive community.

FGII has taken tangible steps to support the LGBTQIA+ community, such as offering family floater health insurance for live-in partners, implementing LGBTQIA+ friendly employee policies, and providing inclusive workplace infrastructure like gender-neutral washrooms. FGII’s continuous efforts extend PRIDE celebrations beyond a single month, fostering a culture of acceptance year-round.

The #WelcomeHome campaign, featuring a song by trans-man and musician Jay Anand, showcases over 15 members of the LGBTQIA+ community, each sharing their unique stories. The campaign was created by Mullen Lintas with contributions from a dedicated creative and production team.
