Godrej & Boyce, part of Godrej Enterprises, has launched its new range of smart air conditioners in response to the early rise in temperatures. After a record 100% growth in AC sales last year, the company aims for 50% growth in FY26, exceeding the industry’s 20-25% projection.
Expanding its portfolio, Godrej introduced a marble series alongside its popular Vogue collection and entered the commercial AC market with tower and cassette models. The new smart ACs feature AI-powered technology, IoT connectivity, and voice control integration with Alexa and Google Assistant for enhanced convenience.
The brand is ramping up its marketing with a 360-degree campaign, including IPL sponsorship, targeting tech-savvy consumers aged 25-35. While the window AC market is shrinking, Godrej continues to offer solutions for renters and small spaces with premium features.
In addition to residential cooling, Godrej is targeting corporate and commercial spaces. With a focus on energy efficiency, the company is better prepared for demand spikes this year, leveraging its Pune plant for production.
