KFC India has partnered with YouTuber CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar) to launch a co-created menu item—Saucy Popcorn. This spicy, tangy twist on KFC’s classic Chicken Popcorn features Nashville sauce and comes in limited-edition packaging starring CarryMinati himself.
The collab marks the first time a Gen Z creator has co-developed a product with KFC, even adding a gamer-friendly spork for mess-free snacking. Launched with a bold #BuyOrCry campaign, the initiative aims to grab attention with its quirky humour and internet-breaking appeal.
A digital film shows CarryMinati in a Chicken Popcorn costume, using his signature style to “threaten” fans with hilarious consequences if they don’t try the product. The campaign, created by FCB India, is a 360-degree rollout across digital and social platforms, designed to resonate with younger audiences.
CarryMinati calls it his “sauciest” creation yet, while KFC India says it’s redefining what branded content means for Gen Z consumers.
