When Hemant Misra left his role as CEO of Publicis Capital in 2017 to launch MagicCircle Communications, MakeMyTrip (MMT) followed him, placing their trust in his new venture. This marked the start of a successful seven-year partnership, which has weathered industry changes and the pandemic.

MagicCircle’s strategy-first approach, rooted in understanding brand evolution, helped secure big clients like Goibibo and Zomato. Their latest collaboration is MMT’s 25th-anniversary campaign—a nostalgic yet modern celebration highlighting the digital evolution of travel, starring brand ambassadors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.

The campaign includes a long-format film and nostalgic outdoor ads, while another agency, MoonShot, handled the performance-driven sales ads. Misra and his team credit MMT’s willingness to trust storytelling and adapt to shifting consumer behavior—from cost-focused to value-oriented travel planning.

Over the years, their campaigns have emphasized innovative offerings and consumer-centric experiences, showcasing how MMT has led India’s digital travel transformation.
