Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar have launched their campaign for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, emphasizing the tournament’s “all or nothing” format. With the top eight teams in high-stakes, must-win matches, every result directly impacts qualification. The campaign features a film with MS Dhoni, the 2013 Champions Trophy-winning captain, portraying the intense pressure of the competition. In a rare twist, Dhoni is shown in an unusual, tense scenario—sweating in an ice-filled bathtub—symbolizing the tournament’s nerve-wracking stakes. His line, “Ek bhi match mein phisle, samjho tournament se nikle,” captures the tournament’s unforgiving nature.

Vikram Passi, Head of Marketing at JioStar – Sports, highlighted Dhoni’s fitting role in representing the high-pressure stakes of the competition, while Dhoni shared his excitement to connect with fans during this intense, do-or-die tournament.

Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, will begin their campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh in Dubai, with additional group stage matches against Pakistan on February 23 and New Zealand on March 2. The tournament will run from February 19 to March 9, with all matches broadcast on Star Sports and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
