Bridge Technologies has launched the VB278 module, enhancing their VB120 and VB220 probes for satellite and direct-to-home monitoring. The module supports DVB-S, DVB-S2, and DVB-S2X standards and adds up to four independent RF L-band inputs, expandable to eight with two modules. It features advanced metrics like MER, SNR, and EVM, and includes a user-friendly interface with remote access via HTML5 browsers.
The VB278 supports multiple modulation standards and DirecTV/AMC modes, with future updates including an SDR plug-on for spectrum analysis and fault detection. Chairman Simen K. Frostad emphasized Bridge Technologies’ commitment to effective monitoring across platforms, noting the VB278’s role in customizable broadcast solutions.
