Disney Advertising revealed at CES 2025 that its ad-supported Monthly Active Users (MAUs) have reached 157 million globally, with 112 million in the U.S. and Canada. This milestone highlights Disney’s leadership in the ad-supported streaming space. Rita Ferro, President of Global Advertising, emphasized the company’s commitment to transparency by providing insights into their methodology for measuring global streaming advertising audience size. Disney’s numbers are based on active accounts across its streaming services (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+) that viewed ad-supported content for over 10 seconds, with an estimated 2.6 users per account on average. This approach sets a new standard for measuring ad-supported audiences globally.
