Mark Green, the co-founder and former CEO of the Australian creative agency The Monkeys, and currently president of Accenture Song’s operations in Australia and New Zealand, has been appointed as the global CEO of Droga5. He is set to begin his new role in October 2024 and will be moving to New York City to take up the position.

The Monkeys was acquired by Accenture in 2017, followed by Accenture’s purchase of Droga5 in 2019. As part of the integration, The Monkeys will undergo a rebranding to Droga5 on December 1, 2024. This transition marks a significant shift in the agency landscape, aligning with Accenture’s broader strategy.

In his new role, Green will collaborate closely with Pelle Sjoenell, the global chief creative officer of Droga5, to manage and guide the agency’s creative operations globally. This includes overseeing Droga5’s offices in Dublin, London, New York, São Paulo, and Tokyo, ensuring a cohesive and innovative approach across all locations.
