Prada is nearing a €1.5 billion acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings, with the deal potentially finalizing by March. The due diligence process has raised no major concerns, speeding up negotiations. Although final terms are still being discussed, the acquisition would unite two iconic Italian fashion houses. Capri Holdings, which bought Versace in 2018 for €1.83 billion, has not commented, but Prada was given priority access to Versace’s financials. If the deal goes through, it will strengthen Prada’s position in the global luxury market.
