Trivandrum marked a milestone in the advertising and media world with the launch of Advertising Club Trivandrum (ACT) on Valentine’s Day, themed ‘For the Love of Advertising.’ Held at Hyatt Regency, the event brought together industry leaders, ad professionals, and brand owners, creating a platform for creative collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The launch was graced by filmmaker R. Balki, alongside ad expert Prathap Suthan. Balki discussed his impactful campaigns, while Suthan shared his journey in Indian advertising. A panel on ‘Regional Advertising in the Digital Era’ featured experts from top media outlets.
The event also included video messages from Piyush Pandey and Shashi Tharoor, emphasizing creativity in advertising. Laj Salam, ACT President, outlined the club’s vision to support the region’s advertising ecosystem, with the event concluding in a vote of thanks by Secretary Vishnu Vijay.
