Amazon India’s head of advertising, Girish Prabhu, announced the upcoming launch of “Sponsored TV” in 2025, an ad platform designed to help businesses of all sizes advertise on OTT services like MX Player. The platform offers a self-service tool, making high-quality video ads accessible to both small vendors and large enterprises, with scalability and ease of use.
Amazon has also introduced AI-powered tools, such as the Image and Video Generators, to streamline ad production by enabling quick creation of tailored visuals and videos. Additionally, Amazon Ads launched the Seller Ads Wallet, a prepaid option to avoid payment delays. Sponsored TV will expand these innovations to OTT platforms, boosting ad reach and engagement.
