Angel One has appointed Ambarish Kenghe as its new Group CEO, effective March 2025. Known as “AK” in the fintech community, Ambarish brings a wealth of experience from roles at Google Pay, Myntra, and Cisco Systems. He played a key role in scaling Google Pay and advancing the UPI ecosystem in India. With a strong background in technology, product leadership, and innovation, Ambarish holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from UC Berkeley and advanced computer science degrees from Purdue University and IIT Kanpur.
Expressing excitement for his new role, Ambarish emphasized his commitment to driving growth and enhancing customer solutions at Angel One. Dinesh Thakkar, Chairman and Managing Director, welcomed Ambarish, noting that his expertise will guide Angel One into its next growth phase, shaping the future of fintech in India.
