Blinkit has taken a bold step into the food delivery market with the launch of Bistro, a standalone app that promises to deliver fresh, canteen-style meals in just 10 minutes. Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, announced the launch on LinkedIn, emphasizing the innovation and vision behind the new service.

Bistro operates independently of Blinkit and Zomato and is currently live in select areas of Gurugram as part of a pilot program to assess product-market fit. The service aims to make high-quality, hot meals more accessible, encouraging greater adoption of “outside of home” food consumption.

Unlike conventional food delivery models, Bistro focuses on delivering fresh and wholesome meals. The food preparation process eliminates preservatives, microwaved ingredients, and processed components. Instead, Bistro leverages cutting-edge infrastructure and research to create flavorful dishes that can be cooked within five minutes.

Dhindsa highlighted the company’s partnerships with innovative players in the food industry to build an ecosystem that supports this revolutionary approach to quick food delivery. Bistro’s mission is not just about speed but also about offering a healthier, tastier alternative to traditional fast food.

With its commitment to quality and efficiency, Bistro is set to redefine the quick dining experience, providing customers with a seamless way to enjoy delicious meals without compromising on health or time.
