The E-Gaming Federation (EGF) has partnered with Social & Media Matters to launch a campaign promoting responsible gaming practices across India. The initiative will host interactive workshops at 30 colleges in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh, aiming to raise awareness about online safety and responsible play.

The workshops will educate college students on healthy gaming habits, moderation, and recognizing the signs of problem gaming. They will also address online safety for minors, emphasizing parental controls and industry standards.

EGF’s CEO, Anuraag Saxena, emphasized that responsible gaming is vital for the industry’s growth, while Pratishtha Arora, CEO of Social & Media Matters, noted the campaign’s goal to empower young adults with the knowledge to navigate the digital gaming landscape safely.

The program will feature quizzes, games, and giveaways, with participants receiving certificates upon completing the 90-minute sessions. This initiative reaffirms EGF’s commitment to fostering a safe and responsible gaming environment in India.
