Identity and data-sharing platform Equal has raised $10 million in a Series A round, led by Prosus Ventures and Tomales Bay Capital, with participation from Blume Ventures, DST Global, Quona VC, and industry leaders like Nikhil Kamath, Binny Bansal, and Kunal Shah. Valued at $80 million, Equal plans to use the funds to expand operations, boost partnerships, and develop digital data-sharing frameworks. Founded in 2022, Equal helps businesses streamline KYC, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance by integrating with over 50 identity databases and 4,000 API providers.
