The Indian government has unveiled a $1 billion fund to support the country’s rapidly growing creator economy. Announced by MIB Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the initiative aims to provide financial aid, mentorship, and infrastructure to digital content creators and startups.

Additionally, the Cabinet has approved the establishment of the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies, which will focus on skill development in digital media, content creation, and emerging technologies.

This move aligns with the government’s Digital India vision, fostering innovation, job creation, and global competitiveness in the digital content space.
