Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced that the Maha Kumbh 2025, expected to draw 40 crore devotees, will boost the state economy by ₹2 lakh crore. Speaking at a conclave in Varanasi, he credited PM Narendra Modi for revitalizing India’s cultural heritage.

The 2019 Maha Kumbh contributed ₹1.2 lakh crore, and with higher turnout expected, the 2025 event promises even greater economic impact. Scheduled from January 13 to February 26, it will host up to 1 crore devotees at a time, making it the world’s largest temporary city.

Adityanath emphasized the event’s spiritual and environmental significance, highlighting efforts to protect the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. He affirmed that under PM Modi’s leadership, India’s spiritual legacy is gaining global recognition, with Maha Kumbh 2025 as a key milestone.
