Comic Con India has appointed Shefali Johnson as its new CEO, marking a major leadership transition as it enters a new phase of growth under NODWIN Gaming. Founders Jatin Varma, Karan Kalra, and Sonal Varma will step back from daily operations and continue in advisory roles.
Following NODWIN’s full acquisition of Comic Con India in January 2024 at a ₹55 crore valuation, the brand expanded into three new cities and delivered its biggest season yet. Shefali, a key leader at NODWIN, has led major IPs like DreamHack India and BGMS, and now aims to grow Comic Con’s reach, fan engagement, and inclusivity.
With plans for new formats and immersive fan experiences, Comic Con India is set to scale further and deepen its cultural impact across the country.
