Gaurav Ramdev, formerly the Chief Marketing Officer at Protean eGov Technologies, has been promoted to Chief Growth and Marketing Officer.

In his new role, Ramdev will retain his responsibilities as Brand Steward while also taking on additional duties as the Growth owner for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Profit and Loss (P&L) across B2C, B2B, B2B2C, and Digital Partnerships.

Ramdev commented on his promotion, “The Chief Growth & Marketing Officer role broadens the scope of the Marketing function by integrating growth as a key component. This new responsibility includes direct P&L oversight, which aligns with Protean’s growth objectives.”

During his tenure as CMO, Ramdev oversaw all aspects of marketing, including Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Public Relations. He was instrumental in developing strategic and innovative go-to-market (GTM) strategies and supporting business delivery through lead generation and optimization. Ramdev’s career began at Satyam Computer Services as a Software Engineer in Geographic Information Systems. He has since gained experience at ITC Limited, Orkla Group, Britannia Industries, The Coca-Cola Company, and Razorpay.
