A Fevicol advertisement at Mumbai’s Bandra Reclamation junction was taken down after Western Railway objected to its portrayal of overcrowded local trains. The hoarding, on MSRDC land, used an outdated image showing passengers hanging from train doors. Railway officials criticized it as misleading and harmful, citing major improvements like modern trains, AC coaches, and upgraded infrastructure. With over 7 million daily commuters, they stressed that such depictions ignore recent progress. Pidilite Industries confirmed the ad was removed following a formal complaint.
