SBI General Insurance Company Ltd. has appointed Naveen Chandra Jha as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Kishore Kumar Poludasu. Nominated by the parent company, State Bank of India (SBI), Jha brings over three decades of extensive banking experience.

Jha has been with SBI since 1994, holding various key positions including Deputy Managing Director and Chief General Manager of the Amaravati Circle in Andhra Pradesh. Throughout his career, he has excelled in roles such as Branch Management, Credit and Risk Management, HR & Administration, and Retail Banking.

Under his leadership, the Amaravati Circle was consistently top-performing. He has been recognized for his service with the Chairman’s Club selection in 2005 and 2015. At SBI General Insurance, Jha aims to leverage his experience to drive the company towards greater success, focusing on business strategy, operations, and strategic growth.

Jha emphasizes the importance of human resource engagement and customer centricity, aiming to achieve “Great Numbers with Excellent Quality.” His extensive experience is expected to be invaluable as SBI General Insurance continues its mission to provide “Suraksha aur Bharosa Dono” to all its customers.
