Talha Bin Mohsin, celebrated for his role as Executive Creative Director (ECD) at Ogilvy Mumbai, recently announced his departure from the advertising industry after dedicating 22 rewarding years to the field. Mohsin began his career as a copy trainee at McCann Erickson in Delhi and navigated through significant roles at Leo Burnett, DDB, McCann Erickson Mumbai, and Contract Advertising before joining Ogilvy.

His journey not only showcases professional advancement but also features a diverse array of collaborations with esteemed brands, both local and international. Some of these brands include Cadbury, Pidilite, ICICI Lombard, HUL, Asian Paints, Perfetti, National Geographic, Coca Cola, HBO, Volkswagen, Marico, Radio Mirchi, Yamaha, and McDonald’s. Alongside his brand partnerships, Mohsin’s career is adorned with numerous accolades from esteemed platforms such as Cannes, One Show, Adfest, Spikes, New York Festival, Goafest, ABBYs, Effies, and Mirchi Kaan, highlighting his creative brilliance and industry influence.

Mohsin shared his decision to depart from the advertising realm on LinkedIn, expressing, “I’m quitting advertising after 22 gruelling but fully worth-it years.” His departure is driven by a desire to embrace the role of director and embrace the challenges ahead, signifying a significant milestone in his professional journey.

“My only wish is that my future endeavors bring as much joy as the wonderful years behind me. And with that, I bid farewell to my cherished agency life. But not to all you lovely agency folks. (Let’s get to work now!)”
