The Indian government is set to introduce a unified system to address consumer complaints about misleading advertisements, according to a Mint report.

At present, complaints are directed to multiple channels, including the Broadcast Seva, the Press Council of India, and the National Consumer Helpline. This fragmented approach often causes delays and inconsistencies in resolving issues. The new system aims to streamline the process and improve efficiency, as revealed by an anonymous source speaking to Mint.
