Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) is launching the inaugural Agency Premier League T20 to promote the third season of the DP World International League T20 (ILT20). The event will take place in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, featuring media agencies competing in a unique trade marketing initiative. Ramesh Aravind, a popular Kannada actor, will kick off the tournament in Bengaluru.
The league will involve teams from prominent agencies like Group M, Dentsu, Havas Media, and Madison. The goal is to engage media professionals and create excitement for ILT20. Ashish Sehgal from ZEEL emphasized the league’s aim to foster engagement and celebrate cricket’s unifying spirit.
The third edition of ILT20 will begin on January 11, 2025, with the finals on February 9, 2025. It will be broadcast across 15 Zee TV channels and available for free on ZEE5. ZEEL aims for 230 million viewers, building on last season’s 221 million, with a focus on expanding its reach through South Indian channels and a broad distribution strategy.
