Raagjeet Garg will take over from Pankaj Sharma, who has been elevated to Managing Director – Consumer Products Division, L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand.

Raagjeet Garg has been appointed as the new director of the Consumer Products Division (CPD) at L’Oréal India, succeeding Pankaj Sharma, who has been promoted to the role of managing director for the Consumer Products Division at L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand.

In his capacity as director, Garg will spearhead the accelerated growth of L’Oréal India’s CPD segment, overseeing brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline New York, and NYX Professional Makeup. His responsibilities will include driving market growth through innovative product development, effective marketing strategies, and robust distribution networks, while also focusing on the dual mission of enhancing product value and accessibility.

Aseem Kaushik, managing director of L’Oréal India, expressed his enthusiasm about Garg’s return, stating, “I am thrilled to welcome Raagjeet back as Director of the Consumer Products Division in India. His expertise in marketing and business will further reinforce our commitment to becoming India’s foremost beauty advisor. Raagjeet brings with him a pioneering spirit and a data-driven approach that will play a crucial role in advancing L’Oréal India’s transformation into a leading Beauty Tech company.”

With over two decades of experience in the personal care and beauty industry, Garg originally joined L’Oréal in May 2009, where he successfully introduced Garnier Men to the Indian market. He later assumed leadership roles within L’Oréal Paris in India, focusing on expanding the brand’s ecommerce presence and achieving significant growth during his tenure. Having also held positions in L’Oréal Australia and L’Oréal Vietnam, Garg brings a wealth of international experience to his new role. Reflecting on his return to India, he remarked, “India is where my journey with the L’Oréal Group began, and I am delighted to be back. The Indian beauty industry is experiencing unprecedented growth, driven by a demand for scientifically backed and sustainable innovations. As I embark on this new role, I am committed to raising standards, fostering trust, and exploring new possibilities in India’s dynamic beauty landscape.”
