Metro Brands Limited, India’s leading footwear retailer, has announced the appointment of Mohit Dhanjal as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. Dhanjal, known for his impressive track record in driving growth and operational excellence in the retail industry, brings extensive experience to this pivotal role.

As COO, Dhanjal will be key in shaping Metro Brands’ operational strategy, managing daily operations, and implementing process improvements to support the company’s expansion goals. His profound understanding of consumer behavior and ability to build high-performing teams will be crucial as Metro Brands continues to grow and enhance its market presence.

Dhanjal joins Metro Brands from Reliance Retail, where he was Chief Revenue Officer for Tira Beauty, overseeing the group’s entry into the multi-brand beauty retail sector in India. With over 30 years in retail, he has held leadership roles at Sephora (Arvind Fashions), Raymond, and Hindustan Unilever, showcasing his ability to build and scale high-performing teams and deliver innovative solutions.
