Shweta Jain bids farewell to Diageo India after six years and hints at an ‘exciting new chapter’ ahead.

Shweta Jain, Chief Business Development Officer for Luxury Reserve and Craft in India and South Asia at Diageo, has announced her departure from the company.

Jain shared the news via LinkedIn, beginning her post with lyrics from the Walker/Walkers and Co anthem by John Legend and Rajakumari. “This week marked my last days at Diageo, spent with the people who have fueled my journey. I am deeply grateful for your partnership in every aspect. To the teams, stakeholders, and colleagues who have embraced learning, challenged conventions, and championed growth together, I extend a heartfelt thanks for enriching my experience,” she wrote.

Looking ahead, Jain expressed excitement for the next phase of her career: “As I embark on this new journey, I see it as the beginning of a new book! I am eager for the opportunities that lie ahead, but for now, I am relishing the pause.”

During her tenure at Diageo, which spanned over six years, Jain collaborated across various teams. Before joining Diageo, she served as the Head of Marketing at William Grant & Sons. Her diverse professional background includes roles at companies such as ShopClues, Pernod Ricard India, Ogilvy, McCann Worldgroup, Gillette India, and Rediffusion DY&R. Additionally, Jain holds a position on the Board of Directors at Nao Spirits and Beverages Private Ltd.
